# AgileHero > Agile project management software — kanban boards, backlog, epics, estimation poker, retrospectives and team health checks, roadmap, whiteboards, delivery metrics, and a team wiki in one product, with a built-in MCP server so AI agents can operate all of it and a public REST API with webhooks on every plan. Two seats are free forever; Pro is $12/month plus $9/month per seat beyond the first two, with a 14-day trial of every Pro module and no credit card. AgileHero is built to be agent-operable: an MCP client connects to https://mcp.agilehero.io/mcp and signs in with the user's own AgileHero account from the client (OAuth 2.1 with Client ID Metadata Documents — there is no API key or token to paste), which gives it 49 tools spanning the whole product — cards and epics, whiteboards, retrospectives, the roadmap, the wiki, delivery metrics, and full-text search. Every call is authorized with the connecting user's own permissions, on every plan: 500 agent calls per user per day on Free workspaces, 5,000 on Pro. Rich text over MCP is AgileHero Markup (AHM), a strict XML format with a public specification that maps one-to-one to the editor — never markdown — and rich-text updates are two-step: preview the consequences, then confirm. ## Docs - [MCP server reference](https://agilehero.io/docs/mcp/): the endpoint, OAuth setup per client, and every MCP tool with its parameters and behavior, generated from the live server - [AgileHero Markup (AHM) specification](https://agilehero.io/docs/mcp/agilehero-markup/): the strict XML rich-text format agents write - [REST API reference](https://agilehero.io/docs/api/): the public REST API for scripts and integrations to read and change projects, boards and cards: OAuth sign-in with api:read and api:write scopes, rate limits, pagination, and every endpoint; the OpenAPI document is at https://agilehero.io/api/openapi.yaml ## Features - [Kanban board](https://agilehero.io/features/kanban-board/): free real-time kanban with a triage backlog, rich cards that show status at a glance, and WIP limits that guide without blocking - [Estimation poker](https://agilehero.io/features/estimation-poker/): secret Fibonacci votes on story points, a shared reveal with stats, and the agreed estimate saved on the card — free on every plan - [Whiteboards](https://agilehero.io/features/whiteboard/): an infinite multiplayer whiteboard where one click turns sticky notes into cards, frames into epics, and a mind map into an epic with cards (Pro) - [Roadmap](https://agilehero.io/features/roadmap/): a drag-and-drop timeline with weekly and quarterly zoom that switches between initiative and per-person capacity views (Pro) - [Retrospectives](https://agilehero.io/features/retrospectives/): guided retros — 16 templates, eight facilitated stages on a shared timer, anonymous notes, blind voting, and an actions list the next retro reviews first — plus team health checks on the Spotify squad model (Pro) - [Metrics](https://agilehero.io/features/metrics/): velocity and cumulative flow charts that build themselves from board movement, plus overdue, blocking, and stuck lists (Pro) - [Wiki](https://agilehero.io/features/wiki/): nested rich pages with discussions pinned to the exact passage and full version history (Pro) - [Integrations](https://agilehero.io/features/integrations/): connect AgileHero to your other tools — a REST API (v0) for reading and changing projects and cards, and webhooks for 28 kinds of change signed to the Standard Webhooks spec, OAuth 2.1 sign-in, on every plan; Slack, GitHub and others on the way - [AI agents (MCP)](https://agilehero.io/features/ai-agents/): connect Claude Code, Claude, VS Code, Codex, Zed or another MCP client that signs in with OAuth — the whole product, agent-operable; the current client list is on the MCP server reference ## Compare Honest, dated comparisons: AgileHero Pro against the competitor's closest tier by published features, with tiers and price capture dates stated on every page, competitor facts sourced only from their own published pages, and a section on what each competitor does better. - [All comparisons](https://agilehero.io/compare/) - [AgileHero vs Trello](https://agilehero.io/compare/trello-alternative/) - [AgileHero vs Jira](https://agilehero.io/compare/jira-alternative/) - [AgileHero vs ClickUp](https://agilehero.io/compare/clickup-alternative/) - [AgileHero vs Asana](https://agilehero.io/compare/asana-alternative/) - [AgileHero vs monday.com](https://agilehero.io/compare/monday-alternative/) - [AgileHero vs Linear](https://agilehero.io/compare/linear-alternative/) - [AgileHero vs Miro](https://agilehero.io/compare/miro-alternative/) - [AgileHero vs TeamRetro](https://agilehero.io/compare/teamretro-alternative/) ## Pricing and getting started - [Pricing](https://agilehero.io/pricing/): the Free plan (2 seats, feature-rich — estimation poker, real-time sync, and MCP agent access included) and Pro ($12/month + $9/month per seat beyond the first two) - [Sign up](https://agilehero.io/sign-up/): a working workspace, project, and board exist the moment you sign up - [Contact](https://agilehero.io/contact/) ## Optional - [Terms of Use](https://agilehero.io/terms/) - [Privacy Policy](https://agilehero.io/privacy/)
